LUV LIKE GABE, INC was founded as a non profit corporation to give back to the community and spread love as Gabriel Clyburn did. Gabe Clyburn was a loving young man who embraced life to the fullest and inspired the youth to be great, show kindness, keep God first and spread love. Gabriel was a 2023 graduate of Andrew Jackson High school and rising freshman at Coastal Carolina University with plans to continue his education in business and marketing. In the summer of 2023, Gabe passed away at the young age of 18. He left behind a legacy that this foundation intends to continue on and encourage others to love one another.

How to Apply: 

ALL required attachments must be submitted at the same time your application is submitted. DO NOT submit materials separately. Only those applications filed online will be given consideration.

Your application will be reviewed by our Board of Directors and the fund holder. Selection will be based on a student’s commitment to spread love in our community, overall academic progress and involvement in extracurricular activities.

• Finalists may be contacted for an interview. Students will be notified by email of any scholarship award or denial on or before April 22,2026.

  
  Application Requirements:

  • Completed and signed application –emailed with required attachments by April 8,2026

  • Must Be A Highschool Senior

  • Official  high school transcript 

  • Intend to seek a degree in Business Administration or Marketing

  • An essay must accompany your application. It must be typed, double spaced using 12 point Times New Roman font and should be no more two pages long.

  Essay Question: Defining love may not be as easy as you think. While it seems simple, love is an abstract concept. Love has been a vital reason we do most things in our life. It is a unique gift for shaping and developing character. It plays a vital role in our life, society, and relation. Finally, we can say that it is greater than any other thing in life. Gabe was love and he made a great impact on many lives by spreading his love to others.
   
  In this essay, describe your experience on how you have displayed love in your community. How did this help you grow as a person? How do you plan to continue to spread love in the community and inspire others ? 

   

  • One letter of recommendation is required to be attached to application.
